The trust that a client places with us is the foundation of the design relationship; trust is not ceding the ideas you have but rather allowing us to foster those ideas. The steep site leading to a breathtaking view, a client living in Canada, and a two-year build in the midst of COVID presented challenges and opportunities that galvanized a connection between our team and our client.  The residence, infused with a refined sensibility, takes materials and cues from the owner’s surroundings and blends those natural tones into the setting.  The resulting home is a terraced approach, settled into the hillside, and flowing outward to embrace the views and outdoor living spaces. The interior architecture, details, fixtures and furnishings elevate lake living to create a unique elegance set on the shore of Lake Keowee.
